St. Rose Families,
As our basketball season comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who helped make this a great year for our players & community.

Players… thank you for your effort, your teamwork, & for playing hard while remembering to have fun. Watching your growth throughout the season has been the best part.

Parents… thank you for allowing us to work with your kids, for getting them to practices & games on time, & for supporting the teams all season long. Your involvement makes this program possible.

Coaches… thank you for the time, energy, & care you gave to your teams this season. The impact you make goes far beyond the scoreboard, & we truly appreciate everything you do for our players.

As we wrap up the season, we do need everyone’s help with equipment:

• Please wash uniforms & return them to your coach as soon as possible.
• Coaches, if your team did not make the playoffs, please gather uniforms, basketballs, & team gear & return them to the NAofA office this week.

Thank you again for a wonderful season. We are grateful for this community & look forward to seeing everyone back in the gym soon.

5:00–5:50 pm: 3rd Grade Girls & 3rd Grade Boys
6:00–6:50 pm: 4th Grade Girls & 4th Grade Boys
7:00–7:50 pm: 6th Grade Girls & 6th Grade Boys
8:00–8:50 pm: 7th Grade Boys
Wednesday, October 1
6:30–7:20 pm: 5th Grade Girls & 5th Grade Boys
7:30–8:20 pm: 8th Grade Boys
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
Parent Orientation
A mandatory 30-minute parent orientation will be held during each assessment session.

Bring back Rec Ball for all... Lets kids fall in love with playing, having fun and learning the game.... Once it is THEIR passion, then higher levels of competition are a great idea, until then... Let them Play for fun with their friends.

Not every kid needs travel ball in third grade. Some aren’t ready until 7th or 8th grade. Some don’t even need it until high school. But if you listen to the loudest voices online, you’d think your kid is already falling behind. Here’s the truth: 
There are college athletes right now who didn’t play club until they were 16. Your timeline doesn’t have to match theirs. 
You’re not behind.

Our Little Shots and Hot Shots Basketball Club tips off Sunday, 9/21 at Finley Community Center! In Partnership with the City of Santa Rosa, California

With lowered hoops & smaller basketballs, kids get to experience proximal play - building confidence, finding success, & having tons of fun while learning the game. Parents are welcome to stay & watch!
