Currently, the position is part time, but would eventually become full time. Our industry is somewhat seasonal.

Redwood Moving & Storage is a locally owned and operated full service moving and storage company. We have been in business since 1990 and pride ourselves on the quality of services we offer. We provide services to all of Sonoma County, as well as Mendocino County, Napa County, Marin County and beyond. We specialize in residential moving locally, but also work with office and industrial, long distance, new furniture and much more.

You must have:

Professional moving experience.
Clean & valid CA driver's license (class C okay).
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, everyday.
Professional and clean appearance.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
English speaking and able to communicate in a professional business like manner.
Cooperative, "can do" attitude and team oriented.

Job duties:

Drive (up to) 26' bobtail moving van (with trailer is a bonus).
Loading & Unloading.
Standard paperwork, including: Bill of lading, inventories, change order for service, etc.
Understand and meet customer expectations.
Utilize helpers and crew to execute move.

Our typical work week is Mon-Sat, and if you're still reading this you probably realize this isn't your everyday 9-5 job. Each day is different, in a different setting and with different challenges. We are somewhat flexible as far as work days, but are looking for people available full time.

If this sounds like an appropriate fit for you, we'd love to meet you. Compensation is based on experience and capability. Pay for drivers/crew leaders range from $20-$24/hour. We offer various benefits which are earned over time: 401k with employer match, paid sick leave, paid vacation and holidays.
