Bad day for the gannet, good day for Alison!

The Sterna People’s Choice Winner - Alison Tuck wrestling for her winning print with our wonderful sponsor and printer Achim Sterna.

With thousands of votes submitted Alison’s wonderful image of a gannet losing out to a clump of grass was our clear winner and she wins not only the distinguished title, but also a beautiful print produced by Sterna on photorag paper and a camera bag.

We recently had the pleasure of raffling off one of our FocusPoint camera backpacks at Rick Friedman's Lighting and Posing workshop at The Mid-Atlantic Regional School of Photography. Rick sent us this fun shot of winner, Donna McCann, catching her prize! Rick tells us that MARS was a terrific 5 day school and that he had a wonderful class of 19 people!
