Air quality update for tomorrow's market!
We're keeping a close eye on the forecast, and as of 9:00 AM Friday, IQAir is predicting an air quality index of 37 during market hours (8:30 AM-1:00 PM), which falls within the normal range. We're hopeful that tomorrow will bring clearer skies and a beautiful morning at the Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market.
Of course, conditions can change, and we'll continue monitoring the forecast throughout the day. In the meantime, our farmers have already harvested this week's produce and are preparing to bring the best of Sonoma County to the market tomorrow.

The Santa Rosa Original Certified Farmers Market will be OPEN this Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Luther Burbank Center, but first and foremost, I want everyone to know that your health and safety come first. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
Like so many in Sonoma County, our farmers, vendors, and customers are watching the skies and thinking about our neighbors affected by the Woodside Fire. Wildfire season can bring back difficult memories and uncertainty, and I want you to know that our market community is thinking of everyone who has been impacted.
Even in challenging moments like these, our local farmers have been hard at work. Before sunrise this week, they were out in their fields harvesting tomatoes, peaches, greens, flowers, and everything else that makes summer in Sonoma County so special. Many of them have already confirmed that they will be at the market tomorrow, ready to share the fruits of months of hard work with the community they love.
If you are feeling well and the air quality allows, I hope you'll consider stopping by to support these incredible farms and small businesses. But please, listen to your body and do what is best for you. Wear a mask if needed, take precautions, and know that there is absolutely no expectation beyond caring for yourself and your family.
As of Friday morning, firefighters continue to make progress, and we are hopeful that conditions will improve by tomorrow. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and share any important updates.
Through smoke, rain, heat, and everything else that Sonoma County has faced over the years, one thing has remained constant: this community shows up for one another. Thank you for supporting local farms, local families, and the people who make this market possible.
