A new painting… I have a few in this dark blue cosmic mode… So many people are showing in Art Trails in SOFA this year! It’s Sandra‘s first year in Art trails and we are so happy to have her. Sandra O'Brien Van Blair

1. Laurel Begley and me. It’s been an honor to collaborate with her and learn more ceramics with her. She has been working at the wheel and kiln so hard to make the teacups of our vision! 2. Eclipse shadow painting, holding a memory of when I saw the total eclipse shadow rushing across the high plains. 3. One of the Fortunate Teacups. Fortunately. 4.My own paintings seem to be becoming quite pastel and dreamy. 5. A dahlia from the garden 6.The first edition 7. On my birthday this month, at Doran. Lots of joy, making and sharing in September. I have a feeling of anticipation; wehave one more weekend of open studios, with new cups and saucers I haven’t even seen yet, though I decorated a few of them, and another demo at 11:30 with art talk, tea leaf reading, and treats.
