We are a busy and well established acupuncture clinic seeking a part-time administrative assistant. We are looking for someone with a polished, professional attitude. The job duties are including but not limited to:
Answering the phone and scheduling appointments for patients, using our online clinic management platform.
Respond to email when necessary and filter to lead practitioner when necessary.
Maintain client email list in mail chimp. export new patient information for newsletters.
Submitting and managing insurance claims, receiving insurance payments into Jane (our clinic management system.) As well as communicating with insurers about coverage and returned EOB's.
Stocking treatment rooms with supplies and cleaning treatments rooms between patients. Light cleaning of office space.
Herb and supply ordering and inventory.
Check Patients In/out, taking payments via cash, credit card, and through online Jane system.
Customer service experience is required. Strong computer skills are a must. Days and hours have some flexibility with a preference for availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Some evenings (until 6 Pm) but no weekends. The position is 15 hours per week to start with opportunity for growth.
