Some of the team stopped by after work today to spend a bit of time with each other outside of the office. We tried our best to keep up with all the professionals out there 😅⛸️

This week marks 9 years since Dr. Amber graduated from her specialty training program in pediatric dentistry 💜 Time really flies when you’re having fun! 🦋
Not all dentists who treat only kids are pediatric dentists. To be an official pediatric dentist, dentists must attend school for at least an additional 2 years after graduating from their 4 years of dental school. During those additional 2 years, they receive specialized training to take care of infants, children, adolescents, and children with special health care needs. Dr. Amber’s residency was a hospital and university combined program in Stony Brook, New York. Her favorite aspect of her program was the experience she was able to receive treating trauma accidents in the hospital. Although, she doesn’t miss her pager ringing 2-3 times a night 📟😅

Hello from the Bioclear Learning Center! Dr. Amber spent the last few days learning how to offer top notch cosmetic dentistry to our patients. Pediatric dentists aren’t generally known for their cosmetic dentistry, but Dr. Amber wants to change that for her office. She learned how to provide even more beautiful and long lasting peg lateral composite build ups and composite trauma restorations. We’re excited to offer these Bioclear composite restorations to our young patients who are not quite ready to be seen by a general dentist for veneers or crowns. 💜

February is Children’s Dental Health Month! Santa Rosa Pediatric Dentistry helped spread oral heath awareness by presenting to several preschools and donating over 300 dental hygiene kits to children in Santa Rosa 💜

We were so excited for the opportunity to give this patient a new beautiful smile! This has been one of our most rewarding cases in a while. This little one helped us place these incredibly esthetic pediatric zirconia crowns with the use of only mild nitrous oxide - sedation was NOT used for these 👏👏👏
