FYI everyone, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will officially enforce a stricter "public charge" inadmissibility standard starting September 18, 2026. This update follows a final Department of Homeland Security (DHS) rule that rescinds the "lenient 2022 Biden-era" framework, restoring broader discretion to immigration officers.

Spreading the word that there will be a movie being filmed in downtown Santa Rosa tomorrow, July 23rd 2026, where actors are playing immigration agents will be in the area. These are not real agents, this is all part of the film.

Some scenes may look real, so we wanted to let you know in advance. This filming is approved by the City through our permit processes. Temporary road closures and traffic controls will be in place.

The systematic dismantling of the immigration courts is heartbreaking to watch. Seeing it hit our local San Francisco and Concord immigration courts and take fair judges, who our attorneys have both won and lost cases in front of, is just devastating.
Trump administration fires at least 15 immigration judges in Bay Area A total of 15 Bay Area immigration judges have been fired since President Trump took office. Judges say the firings will create massive backlogs, while the DOJ says that judges who have "systemic bias" will be terminated.
