Mini Rosco debuts today at Welcome Day.

Rosco would like to introduce the first-ever Mini Rosco!
The first 50 Mini Rosco plushies will be given away today at the Santa Rosa campus Welcome Day to students who bring in their completed “bingo cards.” Since there are so few, it will be first come, first served. There will be a few Minis at the Petaluma Campus Welcome Day on Saturday, Aug. 15, followed by SRJC Roseland and Public Safety’s welcome events in September.
Throughout the semester, we’ll organize more opportunities to win one of the rare Mini Rosco plushies. Make sure you attend Student Services events and explore the resources available for students.
If you get one, take a selfie and tag – we can share it on our stories.
History bit for new students: The first SRJC students selected the bear cub as their mascot in 1918. The cub got its name in a contest in 1950 and has had several “looks” since then. The beloved bear cub was redesigned in 2024, and now we’re launching the first-ever Mini Rosco plushie.
