Movie Fact Monday 🎬 Long before wine country was on every traveler’s radar, Flamingo Resort & Spa was already drawing a glamorous crowd as Santa Rosa’s premier Hollywood hideaway.

Opened in 1957, this mid-century gem became a go-to escape for stars looking to slip away from the spotlight... including actress and model, Jayne Mansfield, who famously spent time lounging poolside at the resort. With its cabana-lined pool, lively social scene, and retro charm, the Flamingo brought a touch of Old Hollywood to Sonoma County, becoming the place to see and be seen.

Today, that same spirit lives on. Thoughtfully refreshed while honoring its roots, the Flamingo still invites guests to unwind in style, where a hint of Hollywood history lingers in every sun-soaked corner.
