General information
Repair Policies and Procedures:
There is a $35 non-refundable bench fee for most repairs.
A smaller $15 bench fee applies to small items with a low barrier to entry, such as single effects pedals, at my discretion.
Multiple small repairs from the same customer can often be grouped under one $35 bench fee, at my discretion.
Bench fee will be subtracted from final cost of labor.
I will return an estimate of timeframe and cost within two weekdays of receiving the work and bench fee.
Upon approval of the estimate, I will order parts if necessary, and/or begin work.
Once customer is notified of completed work, customer’s item(s) must be paid for and
picked up within one week. Every subsequent week of delinquency will incur a $20 storage fee.
If item is not picked up after one month after notification of completion of work (or if customer cannot be contacted for the same duration of time), the item(s) become the property of The Sounding Board and may be sold to cover the cost of repairs. Original owner may, at this time, buy the item back at asking price.
