A push to rename part of Wabash Avenue in downtown Chicago after former President Barack Obama is picking up steam online. The petition would rename Wabash north of the Chicago River to Barack Hussein Obama Avenue — which would make Trump Tower’s address 401 Barack Hussein Obama Ave. The petition, started by Bryce Jones, says the change would honor Obama while also sending a message about the kind of city Chicago chooses to be. A client wanted pendant similar to the one on the left but with a larger diamond. Normally I would probably have a CAD model made and cast it, but there wasn’t enough time to do that. Instead I fabricated with 14 karat white gold bar stock. These first 10 photos are up to rough sanded form.
