The Laguna Foundation restores and conserves the Laguna de Santa Rosa and inspires appreciation for this Wetland of International Importance.

The Laguna Foundation advances the health of the 30,000+ acres of creeks, open water, perennial marshes, seasonal wetlands, riparian forests, oak woodlands, and grasslands that comprise the Laguna de Santa Rosa. We also build our next generation of nature stewards. And we are up to the task because of you! Thank you for recognizing the critical importance of the Laguna de Santa Rosa. We value your involvement and support!

The Barn Owl owlets in the Laguna Environmental Center nest box are growing up fast! 🦉✨

At nearly 8 weeks old, their heart-shaped faces are becoming more defined and their adult feathers are filling in. They're quickly losing their fluffy white down and starting to look like the barn owls they'll soon become.

Swipe to see their latest portraits and the incredible changes since they hatched in April! 🪶

🌱Restoration is a team effort!

🪏The Laguna de Santa Rosa's path to recovery didn't happen in a single office or a single season. It happened across 37 years of collaboration with scientists and students, Tribal partners and volunteers, agencies and landowners, and our neighbors who refused to give up on a wetlands declared lost.

🦅Our community is why bald eagles fly over the Laguna today. It's why coho salmon are returning to streams where they hadn't been seen in decades. And it's why a $1.05M state-funded planning grant is now funding the planning for the largest restoration project this watershed has ever seen.

🌳State investment recognizes what the community has already built. Your gift keeps building it. Join us with a donation today.

🎒 The next generation of environmental stewards is learning about the Laguna all year round. From Learning Laguna’s hands-on field trips to summer days at Camp Tule, students of all ages experience science, nature, and connection to one of California’s most vital ecosystems as well as each other.

💚 Flexible funding ensures these programs continue to grow, reaching more students and deepening the positive impact on our community and the watershed we call home.

🌎 When you give, you invest in both the land and today’s young stewards — our future leaders — who will champion its protection. ✨Donate today at Lagunafoundation.org

🦎A healthy watershed protects all who call the Laguna home — including rare and endangered species found nowhere else in the world.

🌸The Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed supports an incredible diversity of life, providing vital habitat for species that depend on healthy wetlands, creeks, and uplands to survive. Protecting and restoring these ecosystems is ongoing, complex work that requires flexibility, long-term commitment, and collaboration.

🌱Unrestricted gifts allow us to respond to emerging needs, protect habitat, and accelerate restoration across the watershed.

🫶If protecting biodiversity matters to you, please support our work with a donation today. https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/LagunaFoundation
