Ten years after they first met in person on September 30, Liz and James got married on that very same date. Surrounded by their closest people, their wedding at The Inn at Newport Ranch was intimate, joyful, and deeply personal.
Perched above the Pacific, The Inn at Newport Ranch offers sweeping views, golden grass-covered headlands, and peaceful redwood hills — a beautiful setting for their celebration. Whales passing in the distance and soft fog drifting in later added an unforgettable touch to the day.
What began as a friendship slowly grew into a love neither of them could have planned. Even their proposal came unexpectedly, when a wrong turn near Cabo San Lucas led them to a historic lighthouse, where James asked Liz to marry him. Ten years after that first meeting, they stood together once again — this time, promising to choose each other for all the years to come. ✨

I’m looking for the quiet glances, nervous laughs, familiar faces, and little interactions that happen between the big moments. I want to understand the people who matter most to you and notice the relationships that have shaped your story long before the wedding day. Mira and Daniel first met through the same circle of friends in Butte County back in 2010, eventually finding their way from friendship into love. Years later, Daniel proposed in Fern Canyon, one of Mira’s favorite places in the world—a quiet, magical moment beneath the redwoods that made their journey together feel even more meaningful.
Their late-summer wedding at Ridgefield Weddings in Arcata, Northern California carried that same sense of warmth and wonder. Set among ancient redwoods, a historic estate home, and 80 private acres, the celebration was filled with joyful family and friends, playful moments, beautiful portraits, and the magic of a wedding day that felt straight out of Mira’s dreams. ✨🌿
