The Sculpture in Motion class I took last week at Anderson Ranch was both intense and ridiculously fun. Learned circuits, motors, a bit of Arduino and integrated everything into several sculpture projects. .dama is a rockstar teacher. Will, Erin and T are lifesavers. Fantastic group of humans in the class. Loved getting my “diploma”!

📍Studio vibes this week = less painting, more writing.
I’ve been deep in application mode, working on proposals to place my Wheels installation for the upcoming year. It’s all part of the process as a multi-disciplinary artist balancing the hands-on with the behind-the-scenes. 🛠️💻
Excited to see where Wheels rolls next.

Last week I finished an abstract painting class at the Art Students League of Denver. I’m not a painter but I’m excited to integrate some of the concepts into my sculptural work. Loved the insightful teacher Aiden Tunnel.

It's Giving Tuesday! If you are supporting charitable organizations this year, please consider making a donation of any amount to the Art Students League of Denver. Link to donate: https://www.coloradogives.org/story/K1c5dg
I have been involved with this local arts non-profit for over 20 years.
The Art Students League of Denver runs over 700 classes and events each year and has been going strong since 1987. It is through generous contributions that it can give back to the community.
I have personally taken ceramics, drawing and sculpture classes at the school and in the process found a community of art lovers, mentors and friends. As a board member, I volunteer my time and resources.
Click the link in my bio to support their Year End campaign; all donations go directly to the organization.
Thank you for your support!

Prototyping! I am working on a public art proposal and I’m playing with different ideas, using cardboard circles and building sculpture prototypes. FUN.
