SNAP Cats

TWO FOR TUESDAY!

Isa and Sage are 3 years 6 months-old and sponsored by Stefanie Kraus. SNAP Cats rescued Isa and Sage from Fresno, CA. These siblings are very sweet, affectionate kitties. They love attention, and will follow you around meowing for pets and rubs. Their ataxia is mild+. Their back ends sway side-to-side a bit when they walk/run. But Isa and Sage don’t fall or need any kind of assistance to get where they’re going, including atop cat tress, shelves and counters. Isa and Sage will make a wonderful addition to anyone looking for extremely affectionate, loving kitties!

Although we’d love to see Isa and Sage adopted together, they’re not bonded. So they can be adopted separately. But please adopt them together!

If you’re interested in Isa and Sage please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Raven is 2 years 11 months-old and sponsored by Christine and Anthony Durso. SNAP Cats rescued Raven from Long Beach, CA. Raven is an extremely vocal cat, who's full of energy and loves to play. Her ataxia doesn’t stop her from doing anything! Raven loves attention and wet food treats. She gets along well with the other kitties here, so Raven will make a wonderful addition to a home with cats.

Please Note: Raven doesn't always use the box here. That could change in a new home with less cats. But we can't guarantee it.

If you’re interested in Raven please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

This is Kitty (nah, she’s had her name her whole life). She’s 15 years-old and missing her rear leg due to an accident 12 years ago. Kitty’s mom passed away, and no one could take her, so the family reached out to us…

And the rest is history.

Kitty’s coming in this Saturday and will be joining our resident seniors in our senior room and senior catio.

Thank you, Heidi, for taking care of Kitty until you could bring her here!

WHITE-ISH CAT WEDNESDAY

This is Tum Tum (you betcha!). She’s about 5 months old and ataxic. Little sketchy on how she ended up at the San Jose Shelter, but she was in desperate need of rescue, so we, of course, said sure.

Not exactly sure when she’ll be arriving here, but we figured it’s White Cat Wednesday, so what the hell, why not feature her.

Here is a video of her: https://youtu.be/Fk6UHubznrI?si=mE397MtyGhEnnQcj

This little cutie is Sampson. He’s about 13 weeks-old and has moderate-to-severe pectus excavatum (sunken breastbone). Sampson was found as a stray in San Francisco, and surrendered to SF ACC, who emailed us…

And the rest is history.

Sampson will be arriving today at about 2 pm. You can watch Sampson’s arrival on our Kitten Room YouTube We**am at https://www.youtube.com//streams.

Thank you to the staff at SF ACC for taking care of Sampson and getting him here to SNAP Cats!

BLACK CATS FRIDAY!

Jersey and Onyx are 1 year 2 months-old and sponsored by Alice Weigel. SNAP Cats rescued Jersey and Onyx from Fresno, CA. Look who joined The 60% Club! That’s right, both Jersey and Onyx (siblings) came to SNAP Cats FeLV+ in April. But since they were so active and healthy, we tested them again and they tested negative! So they’re out and about in our general population.

For those who don’t know, 60% of adult cats with FeLV can naturally shed the virus, and stay virus-free for the rest of their lives. Jersey and Onxy make numbers 10 and 11 cats (out of 18) that’ve naturally shed the virus here. Congrats, kids!

If you’re looking for two of the sweetest cats ever! Cats who will welcome you into the room, constantly follow you around meowing for attention, pets and love, Jersey and Onyx are the kitties for you!

Since these siblings are bonded we’d like to see them adopted together.

If you’re interested in Jersey and Onyx please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

Princess is 5 months-old and sponsored by Mary DeVincenzi. SNAP Cats rescued Princess from Moreno Valley, CA. If you’re looking for the ultimate kitten – playful, affectionate, lap cat – then look no further. Princess is everything you’re looking for and more. She zooms around doing everything kitten, then jumps in your lap to snuggle with you all day. And her purr.... OH MY! What a motor!

Since Princess is a kitten, she’ll need another kitten about her age to play with and continue learning socialization skills with.

If you’re interested in adopting Princess please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

WHITE-ISH CAT WEDNESDAY!

Charlie’s been adopted by Pilot Thomas and his wife Cora (and their family)! If you remember, Pilot Thomas made three attempts to fly Charlie up here from Orange County (CA). Each time something “broke” on his plane and he had to return to home base. Well, I think this is a case of “It was meant to be” because Thomas and Cora fell in love with Charlie and want to give him a wonderful, new, loving home!

TWO FOR TUESDAY!

WE CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THESE KITTENS ARE STILL HERE!!!

Stormy (left) and Thunder are 5-1/2 months-old. Stormy is sponsored by Sheila Reilly; Thunder is sponsored by Jennifer Mersich. SNAP Cats rescued Stormy and Thunder from Fresno, CA. Stormy and Thunder have made themselves right at home! Both kittens are extremely playful; very affectionate; and everything you’d want in a pair of bonded kittens. Both have moderate-to-severe cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) but continue to get stronger and more steady every day. Stormy & Thunder use the litterbox like champs, and get along great with other cats.

Although they’re not officially up for adoption (will be soon), we are currently taking applications for them. You can find an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/adoption-process/.

OUR KITTEN NEEDS A NEW NAME!

We rescued Wibbles last Tuesday. He obviously needs a new name. Please let us know what name we should give him.

REMEMBER: His name cannot reference his special needs.
