We took a road trip down to Monterey this weekend to provide AV for — one of our amazing clients we’ve had the privilege of working with for years.
The presentations are always fascinating, and it’s a privilege to sit in on such meaningful conversations about mental health. Grateful to help bring this incredible event to life each year.
One of our dearest friends—and a client who has been with us since the very beginning—was surprised for her 50th birthday last weekend!
We were honored to help celebrate with our LED dance floor, DJ Micah Perrin on the decks, a full sound system for dancing, and an incredible live performance by our very own Benny J (guitar, keyboard, vocals) and his sister (vocals). Wireless uplights and dance floor lighting brought it all together for an unforgettable night.
Letitia, thank you for your years of support and mentorship. The impact you’ve had on our company—and the entire community—means so much to us.

is an amazing property for corporate meetings and events, and we always enjoy working with them to provide the best in corporate AV. For this meeting, we set up two of our 85” TVs, a full livestream rig, 8 wireless microphones, a digital mixing console and a discrete but powerful QSC sound system🤩
Behind the desk we have Nick running video as V1 and Jack as our new A1! Great job gents!
is one of our favorite local companies to work with. Not only is their beer amazing, but their team is always so kind and passionate about what they do. This weekend we celebrated the release of “Big Chicken” with Henhouse, and brought our QSC line-array system out to play. On stage is the formidable band, and behind the desk we had Jake and Sean making everything sound stellar! Cheers!
We had the privilege of designing lighting for an event in the caves at 🤩
It’s always a treat working with stunning venues like this. So much of the beauty is already baked into the space, so our job is really just to highlight that beauty. We hope to get the chance to work here again, it really is an amazing place, and we love partnering with family owned venues like Jarvis Estate.

Leo James, founder and owner of Techtonic Events, has been on a mission since 2014. Growing our brand from a one-man wedding DJ operation into a regional AV supplier took time, discipline and vision. Luckily for our clients and employees, Leo has a surplus of all of these traits. His dedication to providing a quality service and exceeding clients’ expectations is the driving force behind our business, and infectiously builds morale within our team.
Our next employee spotlight is our Operations Manager, Nick. Nick is the rock solid heart of our operations. Wearing countless different hats, he tirelessly devotes himself to our team and our clients, and always does it with with a smile and the friendliest demeanor. We would not be the company we are without Nick. He has his finger on the very busy pulse of our business, week in and week out.
