Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity and truly the honor of photographing the Drive To Eden event celebrating the memory of James Dean and the 69th anniversary of the filming of East of Eden in the beautiful seaside town of Mendocino.
When I say I’ve never met a group of people who emit such love for each other and joy for life, I’ve never meant anything more. I showed up a stranger and I left a dear friend and permanent “Jimmy Deaner” for life. Thank you to everyone who was involved and came out and especially a HUGE Thank You to and James for putting this all together and wrangling Lew into it! What started as a tiny idea was spun up into memories we will all have and share forever. Thank You!! 🌅🌲🌊🚗🧳
Time slows for nobody, and each moment gone in an instant as fast as it came. Take a deep breath and enjoy every second.
