We’ve been busy doing fun projects this summer.

One of our favorite projects was hand sewing these beautiful flowers and pearls to really make this quinceañera dress pop!

We love making your dreams reality! 🌸

The past couple months we had to honor to work on these Ballet Folklorico dresses from the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico!

There were 12 dresses to give makeovers!

List of alterations and creations:
• take apart all twelve dresses and make adjustable skirts (make waist bands with ties- skirts fits most sizes)
• unsew top fringe pieces and create a snap on/off function
• created a “slip dress” for the top(blue) and the bottom half white with lace
•added new zippers to all the slip dresses
•created white waistbands that overlay on top of the slip dress and skirt to create the effect that it is all one piece 🤍

These dresses are special to Chantel because when she danced in the group she performed in them also.
Lots of hard work but they turned out beautiful and will last many years and dancers to come! 🤍

We are the faces behind CHAFI & Designs and we are happy to officially introduce ourselves!

Nefi started sewing when he was just a kid at his Aunts workshop. He watched her sew and was drawn to all the different fabrics. He started sewing and realized he had a strong passion.

When Nefi and Chantel met, Nefi had designed and created several pieces for Chantel. She fell in love with the art and wanted to learn more.

Together we found a love for designing and creating masterpieces and that’s what we do.
