A Maine C**n Cattery
08/09/2026
On 7/4/26 my beautiful girl Amelia of TheraC**nzzz of Minnesota Maine C**n Cat Cattery was due to deliver her kittens. It wasn’t until 2 days she delivered them. She delivered 6 kittens but only 3 placentas. I gave her a few days to see if she would deliver them on her own but to no avail. So I scheduled a spay appointment to remove the remaining placentas. It was during this time I discovered that one kitten has a cleft palate and he had to be put down. After 2 weeks they started to open their eyes to the world only to discover that one girl had a problem with an eye. I gave antibiotics but that didn’t help so back to the vet. He diagnosed her with microphthalmia. This is a rare congenital defect where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small or underdeveloped. He says she will live a normal happy life but may need surgery in the future to remove the underdeveloped eye and suture it shut to prevent infection. She is my Joy as she is an example of overcoming obstacles in life to still and still be playful and happy. So without further ado I am pleased to announce my “J” litter. They are doing great and bring me such comfort when I need it most. I want to thank my mentor Terri of Ttcats Cattery Maine C**ns for the care and support you gave me through this process. You are a true blessing.
