It’s always so exciting when our designs come to life and this primary suite did not disappoint. Swipe for a simple way to create a department store mirror using cabinetry and a closet dreams are made of.

Highlighting this gorgeous kitchen, pantry, back hall and laundry room today. Love the way all of the wood tones play so nicely with the soft white of the cabinetry and walls. Some of my favorite things about these spaces:

~white oak floors
~separate refrigerator and freezer columns
~unlacquered brass hardware, plumbing and lighting
~custom pocket doors leading to the oversized pantry and back hall
~caning inserts in the laundry room cabinets.
~built-in coffee bar

Walking into September with a Prayer and a Plan. Really looking forward to this season.

Not only have I had the joy of growing up near lake Martin and spending my summers there, I’ve also been blessed in my career to design many homes on this beautiful lake. Not surprised at all that selected to feature it!

***And ironically it’s being compared to my new favorite place 😉. 🛶 or 🏝️

Summertime in the South is easy living with an amazing backyard like this one. and knocked it out of the park at our latest project in Auburn, AL.

One of the best home accessories is fresh flowers or stems…and even better when they come from your own back yard!

Since moving to Florida, these fan palm stems have become a staple in my kitchen or on my dining table. They grow wild and are everywhere! When living in Alabama, I loved to use magnolias and hydrangeas.

Picking from your own garden helps your home truly reflect the region you live in and maybe just as equally important, helps your budget too 😉
