So what exactly is a bridal session?

Bridal Photos often take place either close before or after your wedding to get more amazing photos of you in your beautiful dress!

Typically if scheduled before, the bride gets dressed as if it were the day of, and I usually recommend using your makeup trial for this to see exactly how it will look the day of! Then we pick a gorgeous area whether that is the beach, indoors…whatever you want!

Sometimes, my couples decide to do these bridals after the wedding and/or honeymoon where they can both enjoy this time together! This is so special because the two of you can enjoy putting on your fancy clothes together once more and just enjoy being newlyweds without the stress + time crunch that often happens on wedding days. It’s also an amazing opportunity to get pictures in a whole different setting — maybe you’re getting married inside a church, so you book your bridals for a beautiful garden area around town!

Seth + Katie elected to do their bridals after their wedding + close to a beach near their house, so it really was so special for the two of them to get to have these extra photos together.

so many beautiful sessions this summer and not enough time to post! congratulations to these newlyweds who I got to meet this summer for some beautiful engagements! One of my favorite shots from their session was actually one of the very last photos I took on my camera — them taking a moment together while the sun went down behind them. Couldn’t ask for a better sunset image💛

Getting to meet Madison + Thomas for couple photos was like meetin up with pals I had known for years — they are probably one of the most down to earth couples I have met. Andddd as you can see, they were so so easy to capture being in love!

Also c’mon I mean look at her dress 🤩 a photographers dream dress to photograph am I right?!

Coming off a major high this weekend after traveling all the way down to📍Fort. Lauderdale for this sweet proposal —

wins boyfriend of the year for keeping this a secret for so long and doing it so well. Cody reached out to me about a month ago with the plans…all he needed was someone to catch it on camera!

From us only calling when Nataly wasn’t around to me acting like a stranger asking if they wanted an iPhone photo together, we had her surprised till the very moment!

I’m so so happy for you guys, congratulations on your engagement!

Emma + Hank travelled to me after weeks of us rescheduling from the rain and craziness of life — and I’m so glad! Right in the thick of the wildflower time in Florida, we frolicked and skipped all around this beautiful field. We ended the session with a fun idea using smoke bombs and after a few failed attempts, (may or may not have almost made a fire with them on accident) they actually turned out superrrr cool! 🤍

ladies and gents...introducing MR & MRS CHAUNCEY!!! Everything about their day was perfect. The venue, the flowers, the food, the people, the weather!!! It’s been extremely bad weather all across Florida for weeks and by the grace of God we had a beautiful day yesterday!
