SMP Scam Warning!

If you receive a plastic Medicare card in the mail, don't "activate" it. Medicare is not sending plastic Medicare cards. This is a scam. If you receive this letter, please report it to our California Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) at 1-855-613-7080.

Families and caregivers, you can help protect your loved ones from being scammed. Talk to the older folks in your life about protecting their Medicare number like they would a bank account number.
