Thank you to the Shoes for Students supporters and volunteers who came out on Saturday for the Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament. It was a fun day of fundraising.

Congratulations to Mark Williams who came in first place, Toni Honn who earned second place and Terry Imano who took third place. Prizes were donated by CB Hood Diamond Company, Costco, Straw Hat Pizza, friends of Shoes for Students and The Hitching Post.

Shoes for Students appreciates Toyota of Santa Maria which invited us to use the incredible facility upstairs at the dealership to hold our event. We also appreciate the student volunteers from Orcutt Academy's new Interact Club who helped make the event run smoothly.

A big thank you to Chick-fil-A for donating lunch for the players and volunteers.

Poker fans - you can register and pay AT THE DOOR on Saturday for the tournament. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Toyota of Santa Maria dealership. Cards in the air at 11 a.m.

Poker players and volunteers - please park on the south side of the dealership.

The Shoes for Students Texas Hold'em Fundraising Poker Tournament is this Saturday, September 7. The prizes are awesome and the play will be fun.
