Welcome!

05/12/2026

I’m honored to have my work included in Vogue’s coverage of the 2026 SWAIA Native Fashion Week here in Santa Fe.

To see Indigenous artists, designers, jewelers, and storytellers being recognized on this kind of platform means a great deal. Our work carries culture, memory, identity, and connection. It’s always meaningful to stand alongside so many talented Native creatives who continue to push the work forward in their own way.

Thank you to SWAIA - Santa Fe Indian Market, Vouge, and everyone who stopped by, shared conversation, and supported Native art this weekend.

Honored to be at the SWAIA Native Fashion Week Press Cocktail Hour tonight.

Tomorrow I’ll be modeling for Indigenous designer Himikalas Pamela Baker and these pieces are absolutely breathtaking. This is not just fashion. It is ancestral storytelling, artistry, integrity and Indigenous intelligence woven into every detail.

I’m deeply grateful Indigenous fashion from all nations is finally being recognized and respected in the fashion world. These designs carry history, spirit and wisdom.

As an older model, I’m proud to represent presence, intention and the power of embracing every season of a woman’s life.

Beautiful seeing friends tonight including Chef Lois Ellen Frank, actor Gene Brave Rock from Wonder Woman, Dark Winds, and Native American jeweler artist Kenneth Johnson and Cythnia Canyon publisher Trend Magazine.

Tomorrow is going to be extraordinary. 🔥

Excited to debut a new Georgia marble sculpture, “Connection,” this weekend at the 68th Annual Indian Fair & Market at the Heard Museum.

If you’re at the market, come by Booth I-15 to see the new sculpture and check out my latest jewelry and work.

I’ll be in Macon, Georgia, this month for the ribbon cutting of Bicentennial Park, a beautiful new public space dedicated to reflection, healing, and connection. The park honors Macon’s Indigenous and industrial roots while looking forward with hope.

It’s been an honor to see my work, ECKE, Mother Ground, become part of this landscape—a reminder of how art can hold memory and help communities see themselves reflected in place.

Ribbon Cutting: November 13 at 5 p.m. EST

A rare piece of history.

This sterling silver “Badger Paw” ring is the official estate-authorized re-issue of Charles Loloma’s personal ring from the 1960s, recreated from the original mold by his widow and longtime collaborator.

Very limited supply.

Once they are gone, they are gone.

Contact for sizing and details.

SNAG’s virtual symposium, Tides & Waves, returns September 26–27, celebrating the voices and artistry of Indigenous Peoples across North America.

I’m honored to be moderating the Transforming Tradition session!

This conversation features artists whose work is inspired by historical forms, techniques, and practices reimagined into contemporary expressions.

Together, we’ll explore how tradition continues to shape and inspire the future of Indigenous jewelry and metalsmithing.

Recordings are included with registration: https://snagmetalsmith.org/virtual-symposium/registration/

What a weekend!

Grateful to everyone who came out to support SWAIA and celebrate Native art and culture. Honored to take home 1st place for Resistance and to be part of raising vital funds for Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) and SWAIA - Santa Fe Indian Market through our three-tiered collaboration project at the Gala.

The Indian Motorcycle jackets also brought in huge support for fellow artists. None of this would’ve been possible without the community and The Muscogee Nation of Oklahoma as co-title sponsors.

If you didn’t get a chance to stop by my booth or attend the market this past weekend, you can shop my work online anytime at www.KennethJohnson.com
