Pat Deegan’s webinar, The Role of the Peer within the Clinical Team, speaks directly to an important question in behavioral health: what is the unique and unduplicated contribution of peer specialists, and how do we protect that role from drifting into something it was never meant to be? This webinar is especially useful for teams who want to better understand peer support, avoid role confusion, and strengthen collaboration in ways that respect both clinical work and lived experience. If your team has ever needed a clearer picture of what peer support is and why it matters, watch it now at https://pulse.ly/uxi4z5jxaa

At OPRE, we honor fathers who are peers, fathers in recovery, fathers doing the work of rebuilding, and the many CPSWs who support men as they try to show up differently for themselves and their families. We also hold space for those missing their fathers, grieving what was lost, or carrying complicated feelings about the role fathers have played in their lives. Today, we're thinking about fathers and father figures who keep showing up, and we recognize the peers who help support their journeys every day.
