Tuesday was another splendid Rio Rancho River Run and another tasty Taco Tuesday!

If you missed it, no worries... You don't have to wait long for another edition!! That's because we'll be meeting this Saturday, June 13th at 8:00 a.m. at Dulce River!

As always, we're proud to host the Rio Rancho Run Club, but the Rio Rancho River Run is a FREE group run event, open to ALL runners and walkers of every level and ability. We'll run or walk an approximately 3 mile course, then hang out afterwards for some coffee and delicious pastries at Dulce... 😎🥐☕

For the past 25 years, we've striven to offer the very finest in-store running specialty experience, with quality products and knowledgeable and friendly staff. That said, we love getting out into the running community too!! We greatly enjoy and are honored to work with a myriad of events and races both here in Santa Fe and all over New Mexico.

This past weekend was a busy one, as we were in attendance at both the Trails and Tales 5k run/walk for Children's Literacy presented by the St Vincent Hospital Foundation right here in Santa Fe, and also the Roadrunner Race clear down in quaint and historic Santa Rosa. Meanwhile, over in Albuquerque our friends at Polly's Run and RunFit were helping to spread the word about our upcoming High Desert Miles Group Run and High Desert Half Marathon Training Group Rio Rancho, which will train runners for several fall races, including RunFit's Chips and Salsa Half Marathon.

All combined, these events featured nearly 1,000 runners and walkers, and helped to raise both funds and awareness for children's literacy, youth arts programs, and pancreatic cancer research.

We love providing quality footwear, but there's just nothing quite like being a part of events like these...

We're proud that our High Desert Half Marathon Training Group Santa Fe is once again the official training group of the Santa Fe International Half Marathon!

The Santa Fe International Half Marathon is the premier racing event in the city, held in September and showcasing the raw, rugged beauty of Santa Fe and the surrounding area. The course starts near La Tienda at Eldorado and runs along Old Las Vegas Highway and the Old Santa Fe Trail, before dropping runners into the finish in the historic Railyard in the heart of City Different.

Back for its second year, the High Desert Half Marathon Training Group is the most sure-fire way around to get in shape for race!! What's more, all group members receive a 30% discount on registration for the Santa Fe International Half Marathon!

The High Desert Half Marathon Training Group starts up Monday July 6th. ALL NEW for 2026, we'll have separate branches in both Santa Fe and Rio Rancho, both staffed by our excellent coaches, and split into separate pace groups based on speed and ability.

Marathon

Join us for another Rio Rancho River Run tomorrow evening at Turquoise Desert Taproom!! Meet at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9th for this FREE group run, open to runners and walker of all levels.

As always, it's Taco Tuesday afterwards... 🌮🌮😋

We'll run a 20 minute out-and-back course on a nice urban path, then hang out afterwards for some great food, drink and times! As always, we're proud to host the Rio Rancho Run Club.
