As part of our Native Arts, Language, and Knowledge program, First Nations’ newly created Acorn Fund is providing support for Native individuals who are working in the arts, furthering their learnings through activities that strengthen cultural continuity, artistic practice, and community-rooted knowledge systems.

Through this new fund, Native knowledge holders can receive funding of up to $5,000 for research, travel, and other expenses.

Hey! Last evening It was the opening night for Dillon’s play “Pueblo Revolt” workshop and it was a sold out performance.
So much laughter and a some tears along with it. Important message told with laughs. The entertaining Pueblo history lesson was performed by Bradley Lewis (Acoma) and Santa Fean-David James Garcia. Thank you to the native director Tara Moses (Seminole Nation) and The Santa Fe Playhouse for bringing it home.
The workshop performance runs thru Sunday night with matinees shows on Sat. and Sunday. Get your tickets!!

A very big thank you to all my old and new friends to made it to our 7th annual Red Clay Studio show. The show was a wonderful success for myself and my guest artist Aaron Brokeshoulder. We hope you will join us in our next studio show in October. Cheers!
