Don't be fooled to let Big Oil continue to profit at the world's expense. While Greater Chaco remains under threat, U.S. politicians are chanting "drill baby drill" as a false solution to high gas prices and the war in Ukraine.
Q: What’s really behind rising gas prices?
A: U.S. oil executives, who have been some of Putin’s closest partners for years, are cashing in on Russia’s war.

WildEarth Guardians and a huge coalition is calling on New Mexico’s Oil Conservation Division to put peoples’ health first and put the brakes on plans to adopt new rules governing the use of toxic oil and gas waste, known as “produced water.”

“The Administration’s rush to dump toxic oil and gas waste across New Mexico gives folks across the region legitimate cause for concern. If the fracking industry succeeds in duping decision-makers to de-regulate their toxic waste even more, our water, lands, and climate face devastation beyond repair.” – Rebecca Sobel, Senior Climate and Energy Campaigner, WildEarth Guardians
