After months of preparation, countless conversations, and one unforgettable night, Max reflects on what made PechaKucha Night Santa Fe VOL. 30 so special.

It wasn't just about the presentations. It was about what happened in the room.

A theater full of people listening deeply. Laughing together. Crying together. Leaving with new ideas, new connections, and a renewed sense of hope.

Thank you, Max, for helping create a space where stories become community, and where community becomes something that lasts long after the lights come up.

🌻 Sometimes purpose grows one harvest at a time.
At Beyond Profit, Janice Lucero of Cotton Blossom Gardens shared how an abundant first harvest led her to discover something even greater than growing food, it helped her discover her purpose.

Without established networks or a roadmap, Janice shared her harvest with family, friends, and her community. That experience helped her realize where she belonged and inspired her to continue building a community-centered space rooted in connection, education, and care.

Her story is a reminder that regenerative agriculture isn't just about restoring the land - it's also about cultivating purpose, relationships, and belonging.

The evening began with a blessing.
Our resident shaman, J.P. Granillo, opened PechaKucha Night with a heartfelt blessing, inviting us to enter the space with intention, gratitude, and an open heart.

As the theater filled with glowing lights, each glow stick became more than a light - it became a symbol of hope, possibility, and the wishes each of us carries. Together, they created a beautiful reminder that while every person brings a unique story and perspective, we are also part of something larger than ourselves.

That spirit of connection carried us through the evening as ten storytellers shared their hearts and a community came together to listen, reflect, and imagine what is possible when we gather with curiosity and care.

Thank you, J.P., for helping us begin the night grounded in community, connection, and hope. ✨

To our incredible presenters - Thank You!!!

You showed up with courage. You opened your hearts. You trusted us with your stories.

You made us laugh. You made us cry. You invited us to see America through your experiences, your work, your creativity, and your hope for what comes next.

For one evening, a theater full of strangers became a community, listening deeply, feeling together, and leaving inspired.

We hope the hope, compassion, and imagination you shared continue to ripple outward through Santa Fe and beyond, strengthening our community and our country one conversation at a time.

Thank you for reminding us that stories can change hearts, and that changed hearts can help change the world. ❤️🇺🇸

A heartfelt thank you to the City of Santa Fe Office of Economic Development and Santa Fe Arts & Culture for your continued support and for recognizing the value of bringing people together through creativity, conversation, and community.

Your sponsorship made it possible for another unforgettable PechaKucha Night - an evening filled with deep storytelling, meaningful connection, and inspiration. As our community gathered to reflect on "AMERICA" through ten unique voices, we were reminded that stories have the power to build understanding, spark hope, and strengthen the bonds that make Santa Fe so special.

We are deeply grateful for your partnership and your commitment to investing in a vibrant, creative community. Here's to many more nights of sharing stories that bring us together. ❤️

And then, they left changed. Emotional. Inspired. Challenged. Connected. And, perhaps most importantly, hopeful.

Tonight, ten extraordinary storytellers invited us to look at AMERICA through their experiences, their work, their histories, and their hopes for what comes next.

There were moments that made us laugh, moments that brought tears, and stories that reminded us how powerful it is simply to gather and listen to one another.

Thank you to everyone who took the stage—and everyone who filled the Lensic tonight. This is what community feels like.

We leave tonight with hope for America—and hope for what we can create together. 🇺🇸❤️

And then, they came.
The empty spaces filled. Friends found friends. Conversations started. There was excitement, curiosity, and that unmistakable feeling that something special was about to happen.

Ten storytellers. 20 slides × 20 seconds. One big question: What does AMERICA mean to us now—and what could it become?

Santa Fe was ready to listen. ❤️

Before the stories, there was a blessing.
An empty stage. An empty theater. A moment to honor the space and what was about to unfold.

Before the doors opened for PechaKucha Night Santa Fe VOL. 30: AMERICA, we gathered with intention—grateful for the storytellers who would take the stage and the community that would soon fill these seats.

Then the doors opened. ❤️🇺🇸
