Bookkids joined the party at the Chavez Center last Saturday for SFPL's Summer Reading program. We handed out nearly 300 books to kids! Glad to be a part of this great celebration of reading. (And the Mayor stopped by!)

It's Back-to-School time, and Bookkids is preparing for our fall school events. Here are some ways you can help:

BookKids rocked the Children's Museum on May 19! We gave away 100 books to kids during the event.

Santo Domingo kids embrace joy of reading with free book giveaway Bookkids gave free books to Santo Domingo Pueblo students, tackling New Mexico's literacy crisis and "book desert" problems.

BOOKKIDS will be giving books away to students at Kewa/Santa Domingo School this week, (4/27-4/29), our last giveaway of the school year!

BookKids will be at Nina Otero Community School April 20-23. We have lots of books to give away!
