The plan was one of the first in the country and organized all SAR functions under a single entity, the New Mexico State Police. Up until then, and still today in many states of the US, SAR was handled at the local sheriff's level. Within this statewide plan, provisions were made for the use of volunteer SAR individ

This weekend three of our team members went down to Socorro for a tracking training with Fernando Moreira. Our team members love learning new skills and refining their abilities to better serve the community. Special thanks to our NMSAR resource officer Bob Rodgers for making this an affordable training opportunity.

What a great event last night! Huge thank you to Paseo Pottery for hosting the Nonprofit Pitch Night and shoutout to Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery for an excellent venue!

We are appreciative for the support our community members showed to vote for us to host a Pottery Throw @ Paseo Pottery, as the nonprofit beneficiaries. We will share the details of that event as soon as possible!

There were 20 very worthy nonprofits present at this event and we are extremely thankful for all the love and support to continue our mission: “So that others may live.”

Hey Everyone!

Once a month, Paseo Pottery hosts a different nonprofit to come and try their hand at the pottery wheel or handbuilding. All ticket sales ($25 each suggested donation) go directly to the nonprofit.

This year, Paseo Pottery, in partnership with Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery, decided to host an event called Nonprofit Pitch Night, where nonprofits pitch why they should be chosen as a beneficiary in 3-5 minutes, followed by an audience vote. This month, along with 19 other nonprofits, Santa Fe Search and Rescue Group has been chosen to participate in Pitch Night for an opportunity to be a beneficiary!

Please join us on Wednesday, April 15th, from 4:00 pm-8:30 pm for a fun night at Tumbleroot Brewery & Distillery on 2791 Agua Fria St., Santa Fe, NM 87507, and vote for us!
