It's been a while but the work continues at my place.
To finish off the hall and living room I need to paint the door jambs and baseboard a dark bronze color, install the baseboard and one last coat of floor sealer.
The finishing touches will pull it all together.

3 bedrooms are 99% done on my personal home renovation project.
White oak flooring is done, new baseboards painted Muskeg Gray along with the door jams and the door casing.
Walls and ceilings are Dover White and there
Is a accent wall in each bedroom.
Floor finish is a water-based sealer and I will say that the Parks pro finish sealer has better coverage and smoother finish and less expensive as compared to one of the other sealers I started off with.

Update, 30 days in on my personal project.
50% of the new flooring is in and 50% yet complete.

Jamie from Alpine builders supply in Santa Fe has come through for me once again.
I started a project where I am removing tile in a house along with all the carpeting and installing 3/4 in by 3 and 1/4 in hardwood white oak flooring.
The photos are not in order and the project is still in the works.
Before pics we're existing conditions, then removing tile, carpet, particle board, pouring a concrete pad under the house to support a load bearing wall, install new half inch plywood over existing half inch plywood along with glue and screws.
Now this section of the house is ready for installation of the new hardwood flooring.
As the project progresses I will provide more information and pictures.

As a Contractor not only do I do repair work on houses, I also do installations, custom Fabrications, consult and help with design.

Painted woodwork that was in a serious need for maintenance.
25 hours of scraping and sanding and one week of priming, painting and some caulking.
All houses require some kind of maintenance so if you put off maintenance for too long it will cost more later to repair.
