As we work to improve ourselves and our communities, let us not forget to take time to celebrate.

We should be humble, but we should also be proud of who we are, what we do, and the works that we have accomplished in the name of the Savior of the world.

By His example and in His name, we strive to heal the blind, feed the hungry, and love our neighbor. We should rejoice in the opportunity that we have been given to help others, and take time to enjoy fellowship with our brother Sir Knights and loved ones.

May each of you reading this have a blessed Sunday, full of contentment and rejoicing in the work you do in the name of our faith.

Royal Masters, It's Your Time How is the Royal Master Degree applicable today and what are YOU obligated to do?

Prayers and well wishes for Companion and Sir Knight Fritz Rene who suffered a serious Stroke a few days ago. He is paralyzed on his right side and is getting treatment at St. Vincent's in Santa Fe.

The elected officers for the 2020 year in the Santa Fe York Rite Bodies are listed here below, the full gamut of appointed officers will be announced at the ceremony.

Santa Fe York Rite will meet this coming Tuesday, October 8th, for our regular meeting.

Dinner at Atrisco Cafe 5:45-ish
Commandery opens at 7:00

Our speaker for the night will be yours truly, offering a talk titled "Why/Is the Commandery Christian?" in which we will explore whether Templary is genuinely a sectarian Christian organization, and if so, how that came to be within otherwise non-sectarian Freemasonry.

Also to highlight on your calendars, coming up:

November meeting (Nov 12): Elections night
December 15: Installation of Officers. Lunch at Installation will again be a fundraiser, with all donations going to the CMMRF.
"Installation Season" can get somewhat ponderous, I know. But if you've never seen officer installation at Santa Fe York Rite, you've missed a great day at the races: we don't mess around, we git 'er dun, and we have a good time doing it. Not to mention that we have a wonderful Lunch, to start it all off.
