Greater Chaco Cultural Landscape named one of country’s ‘most endangered’ historic places • Source New Mexico The National Trust for Historic Preservation named Greater Chaco Cultural Landscape in top 11 most endangered historic places.

Chaco Canyon makes most endangered historic places list amid buffer zone threat Acoma Pueblo, with support of the All Pueblo Council of Governors, nominated the cultural site for a spot on the list.

The Bureau of Land Management Farmington Field Office just announced a seven‑day public scoping period for evaluating their proposal to revoke protections for Chaco Canyon that were enacted in June 2023.

Last night, Environment New Mexico brought the magic of the Gila River to Denver, Colorado. With the help of Heart of the Gila, we hosted a special screening of "Journey Down the Gila" at the local REI.
