The Bureau of Land Management Farmington Field Office just announced a seven‑day public scoping period for evaluating their proposal to revoke protections for Chaco Canyon that were enacted in June 2023.

Comments are due April 7.

Last night, Environment New Mexico brought the magic of the Gila River to Denver, Colorado. With the help of Heart of the Gila, we hosted a special screening of "Journey Down the Gila" at the local REI. Attendees were moved by the beautiful and dynamic Gila River and learned how they could take action to ensure its lasting protection.
