STEM Santa Fe advocates for, develops and provides STEM programming, mentoring and resources for New Mexico youth.
STEM Santa Fe is a mentorship organization utilizing a network of STEM professionals who volunteer to serve as mentors and role models for students. Mark your calendar — this is a one-time event. This Saturday is the first-ever free virtual screening of Counted Out, a documentary exploring how math shapes power, opportunity, and democracy in the age of AI.
Since its premiere in April 2024, the film has reached more than 1,500 communities, including a screening hosted by STEM Santa Fe in Española. This free virtual screening on August 8 celebrates that milestone — and continues the effort to highlight the importance of math literacy in our world.
