The Deer Dance at Ohkay Owingeh traditionally features the impersonation of a Jicarilla Apache Hunter dancing alongside the deer, symbolizing the enduring relationship between the Pueblo people and their Jicarilla allies and families, forged through generations of intermarriage, trade, and shared struggles and triumphs.

ALERT: SCPD is investigating the disappearance of Lars Kabotie. Last seen on or about December 02, 2024, in Santa Clara Pueblo, direction of travel is unknown. It is unknown if he left on foot or in a vehicle.

Lars Kabotie is approximately 5'5" or 5'6" in height, 135-145 lbs. It is unknown what color or type clothing he is wearing.
