Espanola Valley Opera Guild - EVOG

Thanks to everyone who attended our April 14th Spring Dinner and Lecture at La Fonda del Sol. Tom Franks gave an enlightening and entertaining talk about The Magic Flute and we were all touched by the aria performance by Alex Esquibel.

EVOC welcomed our Española Valley neighbors to the Santa Fe Opera screening of La Boheme at NNMC on February 19 with popcorn, sparkling cider and information about the Santa Fe Opera Guild. Charles Gamble from the SFO community Engagement Department introduced the event and Dr. Olga Perez Flora, Associate Professor and Head of Voice at the University of New Mexico gave an enlightening prescreening talk. Thanks to so many EVOC members that helped with this event!

Posole Mio was a great success having raised over $2000. Thanks to all who attended and donated in so many ways.

La bohème screening at Northern New Mexico College is tonight, February 19 6:00 pm. Don't miss it!

EVOG’s annual tailgate at the Santa Fe Opera on August 16 was a huge success with great food, good friends, fun times and beautiful weather. Thanks to everyone for contributing to this lovely evening!

What a fantastic Opera Festival Season at the Santa Fe Opera! Cast members from La Bohème, The Marriage of Figaro, Rigoletto, Turn of the Screw, and Die Walküre take a bow after each performance.

The monsoon season brought dramatic clouds to the Santa Fe Opera this season.
