The van really does feel like a time machine sometimes.
The second we load up and hit the road, something shifts. I feel younger. The dogs feel younger. Returning to our favorite spots feels less like seeing a place and more like reopening a room in my head from 2019 that I forgot was there. It all comes rushing back — and it’s still vivid — the song I was listening to, what I had for dinner, the smell of Finn’s puppy breath. I’m afraid if I stay too long, that room/portal goes away… And then you look at the physical beauty of a place like this and the time machine goes even deeper. You can literally see time in the rock — millions of years of sediment stacked in layers, each one a different era of earth just sitting there in plain sight. And here I am — just some dude in his , making videos of his dog eating breakfast for the internet 😂😭
Happy Mother’s Day to my sweets ❤️ You are the heart and soul of our family and having you as Tommy’s mom is the greatest gift I could ever as for. One day, Tommy will understand that too.

Finn’s eaten the same food for almost 7 years now… We rotate between two recipes — chicken and beef — and the ingredient list is clean and simple: Chicken. White rice. Chicken liver. Kale. Carrots. Apples… That’s it. Real things. Nothing I have to look up. AND you can actually watch them make it — some retail locations have open kitchens where everything’s made right in front of you. Hard to find that kind of transparency anymore — especially in the pet world!
When you can see exactly what’s in the bowl, you stop wondering. And that’s why we’ve never switched!
