Santa Barbara Arts Commission will be awarding two $500 stipends to working artists in the "2020 Awards for Responsive Works." Deadline: August 3, 2020.

Call for Artists — Santa Barbara County Office of Arts & Culture In recognition of artists’ essential social contributions, the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission will award up to twenty $500 stipends to local artists who have created work in response to this unprecedented time.

SBP 2020 Annual Meeting at the Santa Barbara Architectural Foundation. Featured speakers, artist Tony Askew and member docents, discussing the current exhibit, "HAVEN".

REMINDER: Artist Tony Askew will give a talk about the current exhibit, "HAVEN", at the Santa Barbara Printmakers' Annual Members Meeting this Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Santa Barbara Architectural Foundation (229 E. Victoria St.--entrance on Garden St.). The public is welcome.

In addition, there will be a special "surprise docent" tour from several SBP members. The meeting will also include discussion of establishing a cooperative print studio.
