Been playing most of my life https. At a different place now playing high quality instruments and will have much more time for playing now as i retire.
still young at heart and play everything from alternative and hard rock, to folk country and blues Just a regular married guy with a big voice who happens to play 12 string guitar. Have been in many bands, including Miserable End. Trying to put a new band together now with not so much of a drive.
Looking forward to 2026. Voice is string and got a private lift in my house for practice. My army of guitars is ready for use once more
Hit the 40 guitar level this month. I have guitars that do everything but play themselves. Will be showing the family soon

My awesome homemade superstrat. Code name shelby because of the shelby blue paint scheme.
Triple hot rails with individual toggles for each to go from single/ humbucker. I love the sound this brute gives me. Loves gain and love pure tone as well. One of the best playing non fender strats i've ever had and i made it and painted it .

Added another 12 to the bunch. A tele styled 12 with a wilkinson modern and a dimarzio humbucking tele styled pickup. Both pots are push pull leaving me the ability to go parallel/sequential and in phase/out of phase. Will be adding a toggle to the humbucker to allow me to split to single. Brass nut just because i like them

Added another 12 string to my collection. I wanted something that played well, was fairly inexpensive, and was unique looking and played well. Fender's villager checked of all those boxes

I hope that sometime this year we can return to normal and I can begin playing live again. Its really hard wanting to play live but knowing what the right thing to do is

Working on a new baritone build that I think some of you'll enjoy seeing. Started with a kit from stewmac, and LP type of guitar with a spalted maple top on it. Then I had a custom neck conversion built by my buddy over at doodcraft. Add some custom pickups handsome custom tuner buttons and you have the beginnings of a really nice custom Les Paul type baritone Frankenstein type build

Love my 12 string (and my emerald 14 string) all 7 of them. Problem....when they will all be needing restring at same time next week. Ugh. Half a day i will never get back but its the path less travelled i chose almost 30 years ago so.... sharp string cuts galore guaranteed. Now thats a gooooood time

the three newest guitars, all gotten for a specific reason, to make the sound i hear in my head. The 14 string Emerald Guitars, the 12 string baritone from Dood Craft Guitars, and the semi hollow body 12 from Ibanez Guitars. All three beautiful but so different in sound and use. Hope you like them as much as i do
