Spent my birthday doing the things I do regularly- what a privilege and blessing to enjoy my life as if every day was my birthday. And being able to share this life with Vicente, Ande & Pisco, surrounded by so much love!

Just returning from our incredible road trip through northern California- here are my favorite highlights from the 1st half of our trip, as we traveled across the following cities 🚗🌲🦭🏞️:

- Lake Tahoe (North)
- Napa, CA with family
- Yosemite National Park, CA with family
- Kings Canyon National Park, CA

We’re doing good over here. Running on coffee and smiles. Told myself I wouldn’t post much of my boy to keep things private, but then I’d post nothing ever since he’s pretty much the main event of every day! Plus, it’s hard not to.. I mean just look at our little burrito-loving, sky-pointing, social butterfly. 🥹😅

We made 10 years (wedding) anniversary this past weekend & had lots of fun celebrating ♥️🥰 Enjoyed an awesome active weekend with family visiting and meeting our little guy! Here are some photos to summarize it all. Btw is amazing- highly recommend! It happens to be next door to the vet I frequented with my beloved Kahlua and the place we said our goodbyes- a little guidance from him from above. 🐾🥺

PS. “DANZA KUDURO” was the very first song and I danced to the night we met 🤣 at an Irish pub in Brickell, Miami FL- 15 years ago! Still fun to dance to..

Benito Bowl was as good as I could’ve imagined ♥️ it was great to get together with friends & enjoy a positive message of unity and love during such a fun, powerful, moving half-time show.

Selfie… because I was too busy to record myself singing last night. Here’s how my Saturday night went in a nutshell 😅😂 From after the show selfies to late night nursing. The grind has taken a different form.

It was a fun night picking fights with my biker gang 🤙🏾 First time getting dressed up as a family (Pisco stayed home 🐾) Yes, The handlebar mustache is real. My hair is not, unfortunately 😅 Baby is ours- he’s the boss and calls the shots.

Today I make 2.5 months postpartum emergency C section.
There’s no better time than now to explore my *upgraded* self and discover what I’m capable of. Today was my first day at the gym since I was 6 months pregnant. I restarted simpler level reformers Pilates classes x2 last week as well to regain pelvic and core stability.
I definitely lost strength and felt weird and sore around my core today. I haven’t engaged certain muscles in months after being stretched out, torn and cut. But if that doesn’t stop me from pushing myself to achieve greatness in fitness, health, nutrition, and in life, I don’t think anything will 🥰

Today I’m celebrating all the mamas who sacrificed themselves for their children and then found the stamina to rediscover balance again. It may look a little different than the balance pre-pregnancy, but as long as we keep looking ahead and striving for better because we deserve it, our lives and children’s lives will be better because of it. ♥️🙏🏽

It’s a good day when I can be dressed and have my teeth brushed before noon, and feel energized enough to prune trees and maintain our jungle. Our evening walks with Pisco, baby & MIL happen daily and I’m so very grateful for my dose of fresh air, happy baby coos and sound of birds.

Enjoying this “mothering” stage of life. Including dressing up, wearing makeup, not wearing makeup, leaving my room around noon, drinking zero proof beer, and laughing over Vicente’s peed pants to then crying to a song minutes later. I know y’all moms get me 🤪
