Congratulations to our newest WCF Safety Hero, a twenty-plus-year employee of the Utah Department of Transportation.
He was nominated by his team and representatives from our Claims and Safety departments were on site to present the award in front of his crew.
Thank you, UDOT, for the nomination and for the work you do every day to keep Utah’s roads safe.

We’re grateful for our longstanding partnership with Turn Community Services and for another meaningful Day of Caring together. It’s a tradition our team members look forward to each year and a chance to support an organization making a difference in our community.

Every September, nearly 3,000 flags go up at the Sandy City Promenade, right down the street from our home office. One for every life lost on September 11th, each with a name and a few lines about who they were. Beside them, more than 300 flags for Utah officers, firefighters, and K9s who died in the line of duty.

Twenty-five years later, walking through it still stops you. Not a number. A name, then another, then another.

We will never forget.

Our Legal team worked the lunch line at St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall in Salt Lake City this week. Shredding chicken, plating pizza and salad, and scooping a great many peaches.

Catholic Community Services of Utah runs the dining hall and serves more than 2,000 meals a day, twice a day, every day of the year. The staff and regular volunteers do this work daily. We got to help for a few hours.
