Urban farm in Sandy I practice SPIN farming, or Small-Plot-INtensive, which operates on a sub-acre scale and keeps things growing very close to home.
I’m an urban farmer growing food naturally in backyards around Sandy. 2012 is my second year in business with expanded plots, improved methods, new varieties, laying hens and lots of excitement for a productive season! I use a bicycle to manage the plots and collect the harvest. New in 2012 I am introducing a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, where subscribers are delivered a weekly share of the fresh in-season harvest.
