Just when I thought it was “just” another Aceh… it decided to prove me wrong. 😮‍💨

The more it settled in under brighter light, the more the texture started showing off. Every new leaf somehow comes out prettier than the last.

This is why growing plants out is so dangerous… you think you know what you have until it suddenly turns into a whole obsession piece. 😭🪴

Some Hoyas just need the right conditions to reveal their full potential and this one is definitely having its main character moment. 💅

📣Introducing… Hoya Aceh Air Suri HBT01 🤩

I imported her in 2025 from Indonesia, and decided to grow her out to see her full potential—and she did not disappoint. The wait was absolutely worth it! She’s showing off top-tier genetics with gorgeous ribbing, big pillowy leaves, and that dreamy, consistent high splash.

I’ve officially tagged her with my business initials, “HBT”, so her lineage can always be traced back to this mama plant 🌱

Only 2 cuttings were released this weekend, and it’ll be a little while before more become available. I’m currently growing out another mama, and I can’t wait to see what kind of surprise she brings next ✨
