Happy Birthday Keegan Bradley!
Keegan Bradley is known for his intense competitiveness, powerful ball striking, and emotional style of play. Born on June 7, 1986, in Woodstock, Vermont, Bradley comes from a strong athletic family and quickly developed into one of the top golfers in the world after turning professional in 2008.
Bradley made an immediate impact on the PGA Tour, winning the 2011 Byron Nelson Championship during his rookie season. Just a few months later, he captured the 2011 PGA Championship in dramatic fashion, defeating Jason Dufner in a playoff at Atlanta Athletic Club. With that victory, Bradley became only the third golfer in history to win a major championship in his debut appearance at that event.
Known for his fiery personality and emotional reactions on the golf course, Bradley quickly became a fan favorite. His combination of length off the tee, elite iron play, and competitive mindset helped him become a regular contender in some of golf’s biggest tournaments. Throughout his career, Bradley has earned multiple PGA Tour victories and represented the United States in both the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.
After battling periods of inconsistency during the transition away from anchored putting, Bradley revitalized his career with several comeback victories, including wins at the 2018 BMW Championship and the 2023 Travelers Championship. His resurgence solidified him once again as one of the premier ball strikers on tour.
Beyond his playing accomplishments, Bradley is respected for his work ethic, passion for the game, and connection with fans. His energetic style and determination continue to make him one of the most recognizable and compelling players in professional golf.

Happy Birthday Tom Watson!
Tom Watson is one of the defining golfers of the 1970s and 1980s, known for his success in major championships and his calm, strategic style of play. He won eight major titles, including five Open Championships, and remained competitive well into his senior years, becoming one of golf’s most respected figures.
Watson turned professional in 1971 and became a dominant force on the PGA Tour during the late 1970s and early 1980s. His résumé includes 39 PGA Tour victories, two Masters titles, one U.S. Open, and five wins at The Open Championship, where his links-golf skill became legendary. He was also named PGA Player of the Year six times.
One of Watson’s most famous performances came in the 1977 Open Championship at Turnberry, often called the “Duel in the Sun,” where he narrowly defeated Jack Nicklaus after both players produced extraordinary final rounds. Another defining moment was his dramatic chip-in on the 17th hole at the 1982 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, widely regarded as one of golf’s greatest shots.
Watson’s career became equally notable for its longevity. At age 59, he nearly won the 2009 Open Championship, finishing just short in a playoff after leading late in the tournament. He later added multiple victories on the PGA TOUR Champions circuit and became an honorary starter at the Masters alongside legends such as Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus.
Beyond tournament success, Watson has been recognized for sportsmanship, fast-paced play, and leadership in team events such as the Ryder Cup, where he served both as player and winning U.S. captain in 1993. He has also worked as a golf course designer and raised significant funds for ALS research following the illness of his longtime caddie Bruce Edwards.
