Eligibility based on age as of 5/1/2026. Twelve year-olds who have aged out of Little League are eligible for Babe Ruth.

Sandwich participates in the regional Gateway Babe Ruth league open to players age 13*-16**. Practices start after April vacation and games start after Middle and High School games end. Home games are played at the Wing School Field. Away games are played at various locations across the Cape.

Ages: 13*-16** (age on 5/1/2025)
Practice Start: Late April
Games Start: After Memorial Day
Game Days & Times: Weeknights (potential weekend game versus Vineyard)
Game Count: 10-12, plus playoffs

* 12 year-old players who have aged out of Little League, but are not yet 13 (DOB May - August), are eligible.

** 16 year-old players are not eligible to pitch.
