Step Over Dril - this is a great drill for both baseball and softball.
This drill helps hitters learn how to move into a strong, balanced hitting position. The step-over creates momentum, the hands work back into load, and the athlete learns to land in a firm base before swinging. A strong foundation leads to better balance, timing, and power at the plate.

Great fielding drill you can do on your own

Keep the bat connected to the shoulder to force the hips to load first. Side toss helps isolate sequencing - hips fire, hands follow.
