Welcome back to our Renewable Energy Series! 🌬️ Next up in our deep dive: wind energy.
Wind energy is a key part of our clean power mix:
🔹 We’ve committed over $900M toward new California wind projects, including the 100 MW Strauss Wind farm and Voyager Wind III.
🔹 The Strauss Wind Project alone generates enough clean electricity to power up to 30,000 homes, reducing 223,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually.
🔹 Wind turbines often generate maximum power during evening and overnight hours, perfectly balancing daytime solar.
