Lifting looks a little different these days… and so do my lifting partners 💪🏼👶🏻🐶

These days it’s less about the perfect schedule and more about just making the effort. Walks everyday with Bo & Saba, getting back in the pool, lifts in the garage gym when I can… little by little. I definitely get the hype now of a home gym, it’s made “actually doing” so much easier 🙌🏼

And let’s be honest - anything to make motivation easier is needed postpartum. And so is anything to help you do something for YOU (especially with a contact baby!). The mental, emotional and physical journey is a rollercoaster, yes tears & smiles included . It’s hard going from feeling so strong and that being my job, to going back to the basics & warm ups feeling like the workout some days. There’s definitely moments where I look at my body and struggle with how different it feels right now, while also feeling incredible gratitude and pride with what it has just done. A different type of strong 💪🏼❤️ I mean… women are amazing!

Showing Bo early where his family roots come from on my Mom’s side and the legacy he’s gifted to carry SHARING Grandma Schnugg’s birthday (3/16… what are the odds!) ❤️🪽🫶 Mother to 13, grandmother to 38, and great grandmother to many many more… she was a true real life superwoman! Bo has big shoes to fill! 💫 Grandpa & Grandma Schnugg have given us the greatest value of family that keeps growing & we feel so lucky to welcome Bo into this most incredible TEAM they’ve created 💪🏼

It was only right that we visit them at rest in BOlinas (👀 coincidence…?!?!) and share a beer in their honor & have our first beach day!🍻 Cheers to family and the gift it gives us!

Same spot, new me! First swim as a Mom & feeling empowered 💪🏼 (and slow… 😜) It’s so hard to do anything for myself or without Bo, but this felt like a small yet BIG step!

Of course I rushed in and out in my suit so it could be as quick away from home as possible, but hey… we did it! Moments of motherhood 🫶

Bo’s (1st) Big Day Out! Of course it was on a pool deck cheering on women’s water polo🤽‍♀️😜 The rainy weather couldn’t stop this 4 week old from getting to meet some of his very inspiring Titis & Tios! ✨

This little adventure felt much bigger as new parents and learning that a 2 hour outing with a newborn is an entire day journey 😂 But made us feel a lot more ourselves and couldn’t be more grateful for all the joy we felt today! 🤍
